This issue of Gunsmoke Western (April 1947, Vol. 3, No. 3) contains eleven complete novelettes and short stories. Featured tales include Henry Malcolm's "Give Him a Gun," about Hackett attempting to stop a hanging; Joe McCoy's "Toughen Up," involving gun-armed men doubting a medicine-show doctor; and Emerson Blackwell's "Rough Buckaroo," where McArthur risks death through involvement in a holdup.
