North-West Stories, February 1932

This February 1932 issue of North-West Stories features six Western and frontier tales. The complete novel "Gunman's Rancho" by Roy deS. Horn depicts Sandy McLeod facing foreclosure of his Southwest ranch by the Jackson family and preparing for a confrontation. H. S. M. Kemp's novelet "Siren Island" involves Steve Barrett risking his life on frozen Spirit Lake in the Canadian wilderness. Miles Overholt's "Horses Can't Talk" concerns an uncooperative mustang in the West. Dabney Otis Collins contributes "Sky Pilot," set in Colorado Mountains around gambling and morality. Tom J. Hopas's "A Gamble in Guns" follows the Kid wagering against impossible odds on a horse range. Art Lawes's "Storm Through!" depicts a white blizzard bringing victory in the North. Bruce Douglas's "The Eldorado Rain" involves prospectors in gold fields. Bob Elsworth's "More Than Courage" is a fur-trail story. A poem by Gerald Previn Meyer and reader correspondence complete the issue.
