This issue features two science fiction short novels. "Hunt the Space-Witch!" by Ivar Jorgenson opens with a spaceman named Barsac, who seeks his blood-brother Zigmunn on the crowded planet Glaurus. Arriving to recruit Zigmunn for a berth aboard the starship Dywain, Barsac discovers his friend vanished three weeks prior. A girl at a street bar cryptically reveals Zigmunn departed for Azonda, the dead, lightless eleventh planet of the system—an enigmatic and ominous detail. "One Against Herculum" by Jerry Sohl presents Alan Demuth, who faces planetary opposition after failing machine-administered tests; forced to prove the machine fallible and its administrator corrupted, he must resort to murder. Additional stories include "Man Overboard" by Alex Kirs and "The Girl Was Dangerous" by Walter L. Kleine. The issue includes reader correspondence, fan commentary by Archibald Destiny, and cover art by John Schoenherr.
