SPACEWAY, April 1954
This science fiction pulp features several stories. "The Alien," a novelet by H. J. Campbell (illustrated by Roy Hunt), begins with a spaceship salvage scenario: a man in his own vessel discovers a drifting ship and finds a beautiful, drugged blonde woman alone in a cabin. When she awakens, she claims two strangers injected her after attacking the ship, and she speculates the vessel was pirated. The protagonist decides to set course for Earth to investigate. Additional contents include "Unwanted Heritage" by E. C. Tubb, "Hybrid Enigma" by Max Sheridan, and several shorter stories by William S. Corwin, E. Everett Evans, August Derleth, Jim Harmon, and Atlantis Hallam. "The Osilans" by Arthur J. Burks is serialized. A science fiction film column by Forrest J. Ackerman rounds out the issue.
