August 1937, Volume V, No. 10

This issue of Tattle Tales contains eight short stories: "Masqueraders!" by Barnaby Ives, "Goody Over Ganders" by Otto Nelson, "Broadway Barnstormers" by Tom Kane, "Larceny For A Lady" by Ken Cooper, "Randy Makes A Deal" by Patsy Hunt, "Personal Touch" by Victor Lande, "Backwoods Romeo" by Bill Storm, and "Hollywood Bound" by Mason Johns. Featured story "Personal Touch" depicts Peter Brent, owner of cherry orchards, encountering Patricia, a violin-playing migrant picker at a workers' campfire gathering. After dancing and intimate contact in the forest, Peter flees, fearful of complications given his social position. The issue includes a poem "Faith!" by J.C. Vivian, Dixie Duncan's advice column with reader pen-pal requests, and a full-page advertisement for Dr. Hutton's "The Sex Technique in Marriage," a medical guide addressing marital sexual matters with anatomical diagrams.
