Carter Dickson's "Blind Man's Hood" presents a mystery solved without his usual character Colonel March. Sax Rohmer contributes "House of Golden Death," independent of his Fu Manchu series. Rex Stout offers "Nobody Deserved Justice" without his detective Nero Wolfe. Q. Patrick contributes "The Marriner Murder," and August Derleth provides "Adventure of the Mosaic Cylinders" starring Solar Pons. The issue also includes period advertisements promoting Rosicrucian courses in mind control.
