Weird Tales, December 1927

This December 1927 issue of Weird Tales contains a range of supernatural and adventure fiction. Featured stories include E. Hoffmann Price's "The Infidel's Daughter," depicting a man constructing a ziggurat in Feringhistan to pursue strange romantic encounters; W. K. Mashburn Jr.'s "The Sword of Jean Lafitte," concerning a pirate's ghost seeking vengeance on a descendant; and Wilford Allen's "The Swooping Wind," about a scientist controlled by wind forces. Bassett Morgan contributes "The Devils of Po Sung," a tale of brain transplantation and South Seas piracy. Additional offerings include R. Anthony's "The Witch-Baiter" (witchcraft persecution in Holland), Everil Worrell's "The Canal" (vampire horrors), and Arthur J. Burks's "Bells of Oceana."
