This issue contains the pulp serial "The Amazing Adventure of Joe Scranton" by J. E. (author's surname truncated in OCR), a supernatural body-swap fantasy. The protagonist, Joe, inhabits the body of Jack Walsh, a drunken, abusive man in England, after an astral projection encounter. Trapped in his borrowed form and separated from his wife Angeline, Joe endures the affections of Jack's wife Liz and sister Jane. After attempting warehouse labor to support the body, he plans to work passage back to America, resolved to either reclaim his own body or destroy it to prevent Jack's malevolent use. The serial concludes in the next issue.

Also featured is "The Phantom Farm House" by Seabury Quinn, a horror tale involving a mysterious farmhouse, supernatural dogs with human voices, and a protagonist performing a burial service amid escalating supernatural phenomena that culminates in the farmhouse's inexplicable disappearance.
