# Western Story Magazine, December 27, 1924
This weekly issue contains nine short stories, one complete novel, and two serials. Featured are Charles Wesley Sanders's "Trouble Range" (a seven-part serial, part one), about Bob Clifford, a former Texas ranger returning to his father's ranch with a mysterious wounded hand. George Baxter's "Mountain Made" continues as the third installment of a six-part serial. Other stories include George Gibbon's "Roped from Folly"; Ernest Haycox's "Stubborn People"; and F. R. Buckley's "The Miners of Three Pas." The issue also includes nonfiction articles on trappers, Hopi musicians, Arizona wild horses, and lost mines, plus departments covering regional travel, ranch life, and reader submissions. An advertisement promotes the new Sport Story Magazine.
