Bless my soul, what trash! It makes me sick to look at it. Won’t you have something nourishing? A little piece of chicken, or beefsteak? Do, now; you won’t get out in a week if you try to live on such stuff as this.” “T couldn’t touch another thing, really,” re- plied Georgie. “I’m not usually troubled with loss of appetite, but my head has been aching frightfully all the afternoon, and anything sub- stantial would make me worse again, I know.
