I will go away, not to some gloomy country place where I would die of the ‘blues’ in two days time, but to New York, where I will have a complete change of people and sights, and you shall come with me. Don’t say no, but let’s go, and we can be as independent as queens for a week; we need not see a soul, and can be just as selfish as we like.
