The narrative follows their protective impulses as they consult manager Temple. Marion appears briefly, showing her spirited personality while discussing an upcoming excursion to Pike's Peak. The issue is padded with testimonial advertisements for Dr. T. A. Slocum's patent remedies treating consumption, catarrh, weak lungs, and related respiratory ailments.
