100% Marvel: X-Men Noir #2
In "Chapitre 1," Angel, Logan, Cyclops, and Judd infiltrate a jungle temple in Madripoor to steal the ruby of Cyttorak for Cain Marko, only to be betrayed when Marko refuses to pay. With Marko dead and found crushed near Genosha Bay prison, Angel goes undercover by allowing himself to be arrested, hoping to uncover the truth—unaware that Professor X and his X-Men are already imprisoned within the same walls.
In "Chapitre 2," Angel [Thomas Halloway] finds himself trapped in the high-security Genosha Bay prison under the watchful eye of warden Emma Frost. Though he escapes his cell, his freedom is short-lived when he’s captured by the X-Men and brought before Professor Xavier, who subjects him to the brutal, mind-wracking Project Wideawake. With Logan and Kurt Wagner [The Demon] looming in the shadows, and Eugene Judd’s presence adding to the tension, Angel must endure the experiment’s relentless toll—pushing his body and mind to the breaking point.
In "Chapitre 3," Thomas, fractured by Professor Xavier's Project Wideawake, awakens a darker echo of his deceased brother Robert. With Wanda’s help, he breaks free and reunites with Angel’s allies, who’ve grown restless awaiting his signal. The group boards a freighter carrying the ruby of Cyttorak—only to discover Xavier’s X-Men have already claimed it, setting off a clash that puts the gem’s power in the hands of Cyclops.
In "Chapitre 4," Cyclops turns on his allies, taking Angel, Logan, and Judd to the floating Dirigi-Carrier of the Office of National Emergency. With the ruby of Cyttorak in hand, he hands it to Xavier—only for Tommy to expose it as a fake during a daring escape. Angel then flies to Wanda's apartment, seeking the real ruby, where he confronts Professor X once more. As Xavier begins to reveal his role in the death of his step-brother, Cain Marko, Angel uncovers a shocking truth: his own violent transformation into Robert was never an accident, but a carefully orchestrated lie to force a confession. The police arrive just as Angel escapes, leaving Xavier in custody.
In the shadowy world of 1940s espionage, daredevil performer Kurt Wagner finds himself caught in a web of intrigue after the assassination of Tranisia’s king at the circus. Drawn in by a mysterious shape-shifting operative known as Weapon X, Kurt must navigate a treacherous game of secrets and betrayal where every ally could be an enemy.
