5 Worlds #2
The second volume of the *5 Worlds* series, subtitled *The Cobalt Prince*, arrives in 2018 with a cover — penciled and inked by Antzu Pantzu LLC — that radiates the series' signature warmth and otherworldly wonder. A determined girl wielding a glowing hoop, a flame-haired younger companion, and a small green creature race urgently forward while shadowy, red-eyed figures close in behind them, all set against a vast pink moon and a crumbling cityscape floating in a starlit sky. Writers Mark Siegel and Alexis Siegel, alongside artists Matt Rockefeller, Boya Sun, and Xanthe Bouma, have built a richly imaginative sci-fantasy world that earned a "must-read" from R.J. Palacio — and this installment looks every bit as gorgeous and adventurous as that praise suggests.

Having lost Jax, An Tzu and Oona crash-land in the midst of a temple ceremony, causing a schism when their crash allows the sacred oil (now discovered to be living) to escape. They go to O'Zirg for help, and he saves them from a mob by turning them over to the spaceship captains. The captains, rather than being enemies, turn out to be fighting the Mimic.
