The cover of this 2019 Cross Cult release presents a vertiginous upward view of a vast, oppressive stone structure — all angular architecture and grotesque gargoyles looming from the edges, rendered in Goran Sudžuka's tight, atmospheric linework. Two tiny silhouetted figures at the top of the composition hint at a sense of scale that makes the building feel genuinely overwhelming. With Garth Ennis writing and Ive Svorcina's cold, muted palette reinforcing the dread, *A Walk Through Hell* #2 looks like exactly the kind of unsettling read its title promises.
