Accros de Reggae #[nn]
Published by Albin Michel in 2003, this French-language album from Ptiluc, Joan, and Harty celebrates laid-back reggae culture with a cover that says it all — a tall, dreadlocked figure in a Rasta tam flashing a peace sign and holding a steaming cup, while a smaller companion sits cross-legged beside a djembe drum, a relaxed "Cool" hanging in the air between them. The warm yellow backdrop and loose, expressive cartooning give the whole thing an easygoing groove that feels perfectly in tune with its subject.
