Robinson Goode acquires a piece of kryptonite from Candy, who is part of Mr. Strong's criminal organization. The kryptonite weakens Clark when Goode brings it to the Daily Planet. Batman takes the kryptonite from Goode. When she returns to Candy accusing her of leaking the knowledge that Goode had the kryptonite, Candy tries to kill Goode, but Red Cloud shows up and kills Candy instead. Lex Luthor tracks down Lois Lane.
