Action Girl Comics #4
In "Action Girl in: Dress Code," Action Girl and Neutrina clash over a band’s shift from underground roots to mainstream success, sparking a deeper conversation about authenticity and image. When Neutrina questions the practicality of her iconic fishnet stockings and high heels, the duo sets out to design a new, more functional uniform—complete with boots and pants—testing how far a hero’s style can evolve without losing their identity. Written by Sarah Dyer and illustrated by Elim Mak, with cover art by Sarah Dyer, this 1995 issue captures a moment of self-reflection in a world where looks matter as much as action.

Action Girl and Neutrina argue about a band that has sold out their beliefs by signing with a major record label. Neutrina realizes her uniform is impractical, and she and Action Girl decide to come up with a new uniform for her - something with boots and pants (instead of high-heeled shoes and fishnet stockings), which Neutrina says will probably not be popular with her fan club.
