Adélidélo #2

A delightful French children's comic from Bayard Presse's Mimo BD Kids imprint, this 2017 volume promises that Adélidélo — the bright-eyed little girl with purple pigtails and a striped scarf — never gets bored ("ne s'ennuie jamais!"). The cover shows her happily painting a blue elephant on a canvas, while a real blue elephant curiously watches from the side, looking a little puzzled by its own portrait. Created by Marie-Agnès Goudrat and Fred Benaglia, it's a charming, imaginative read that captures the wonderfully creative inner world of childhood.
