This 2017 Boom! Studios issue delivers one of the most delightfully chaotic covers in the series' run, packing what appears to be every alternate-universe version of Finn and Jake imaginable into a single, gloriously busy image — alongside Marceline, BMO, a robot Finn, Fionna, and dozens of other recognizable faces from across the Land of Ooo. The sheer density of characters, from armored knights to space-helmeted explorers to a wonderfully goofy zombie Finn near the bottom, makes this a cover you could study for minutes and still spot something new. Adventure Time fans will find this issue's packaging alone a warm celebration of just how expansive and weird this world has become.
