Adventures of Superman: Book of El #7

Part 7 of Phillip Kennedy Johnson's "Book of El" arc arrives with a cover by Scott Godlewski that stops you cold — a young figure, wide-eyed and gripping the edges of an enormous Superman symbol, peers through the negative space of the iconic "S" as warm light blazes all around them. It's an intimate, almost claustrophobic image that frames vulnerability against one of the most powerful emblems in comics.
