Affreusement vôtre ! #[nn]
A grotesque, green-skinned undead figure dominates the cover of this French horror anthology, lurching forward through a dimly lit corridor lined with dusty jars, shelves, and eerie bric-a-brac — the kind of atmosphere that would feel right at home in the great EC horror tradition. Thierry Olivier's art, cover and all, delivers delightfully lurid color and confident linework that makes the creature genuinely unsettling without tipping into self-parody. *Affreusement vôtre !* — "des morts, des vivants et des morts-vivants" — promises exactly the ghoulish fun its subtitle advertises, and this 2016 Wetta-Vestron release looks like a treat for fans of old-school Franco-Belgian horror comics.
