El Anciano envía a Extraño al Ánfora, un jarrón custodiado por demonios para liberar a Zom, un ser encarcelado por Eternidad. Umar llega a la Tierra, destruye la casa de Extraño y convoca al Anciano. Extraño desata a Zom, y lo persuade para seguirlo a la Tierra. El Anciano atrae a Umar a Stonehenge, donde derrotó a Dormammu en el pasado. Extraño sorprende a Umar, quien huye de vuelta a la Dimensión Oscura, donde Zom no puede encontrarla. Zom había sido atado con cadenas de esclavitud viviente por Dormammu y busca venganza, pero con Umar desaparecida, vuelve su ira contra Extraño y su mentor.
