The second volume of Agito Cosmos — subtitled Pro Humanitate — hits the ground running with a cover bursting with kinetic energy. Five very different characters sprint in full-on flight: a dark-haired young man, a fierce red-haired woman clutching what looks like a device, a worried purple-haired figure, a bearded man in a hat, and a determined young person in a light blue outfit — all pursued by a hulking, snake-tentacled alien creature looming ominously from the upper left. Olivier Milhaud and Fabien Mense's warm, sun-drenched palette and lively character design make this 2013 Glénat release feel like a genuine treat for fans of action-packed Franco-Belgian sci-fi adventure.
