“The Monument”

In "The Monument," a haunting legacy from a past duel resurfaces when the ghostly hands of a slain duke terrorize a village, driving its people to fear. Years after the original tragedy, it's the enigmatic Heap who steps forward to confront the supernatural threat—and the son of the man whose life was taken. Ernest Schroeder handles both the interior art and cover pencils, with Dan Zolnerowich providing the cover inks, bringing this eerie 1951 tale to life in a 10-cent comic.
