Daisy Mae barely escapes marriage when she is kidnapped by Curse Droopingham, who throws her into a garbage truck. When the garbage is dumped in the bay, the trash haulers do not realize that Daisy is in their truck. She is rescued by Miss Wolf Larsen, who informs her that they are headed to Pig Island to deliver a cargo of wives. Daisy Mae is saved by Li'l Abner. Tricked into marrying Daisy Mae, Li'l Abner closes his eyes as the ceremony begins. When he opens his eyes, he discovers that an earthquake has destroyed the island except for the small piece of ground occupied by Daisy Mae and him.
