Aleria 1975 #2
The concluding volume of Bertocchini, Espinosa, and Sayago's two-part series brings the tension of that pivotal Corsican standoff to a head — the subtitle *Dernière Sommation!* ("Final Warning!") says it all. The cover places two helmeted gendarmes in the foreground, rifles raised and aimed at a smoke-filled building whose walls are covered in Corsican nationalist graffiti ("Fora Colons," "A I Corsi"), smoke billowing into a pale sky above. It's a striking piece of bande dessinée historical drama from DCL Éditions, capturing the charged atmosphere of August 1975 with real visual urgency.
