Algie #1

Algie #1 is a humor anthology featuring multiple comedic stories centered on the title character, Algie Adams, a normal American teenager. The lead story depicts Algie's misadventures involving an automatic laundry machine that causes chaos when it malfunctions, destroying his home's porch and creating havoc in the neighborhood. Another story, "Gramps' Zero Hour," focuses on Algie's elderly grandfather who excels at accomplishing nothing and offers unhelpful advice, including a failed business scheme to sell nothing. A third story, "Algie—Nurse to You," shows Algie becoming involved with a visiting nurse who arrives to give preliminary checkups due to a doctor shortage.
