Alien by Shalvey & Broccardo #2
Two Xenomorphs dominate this fiery cover — a towering adult looming over a smaller, more skeletal creature amid bursting flames and scattered debris — and the title "Descendant" hints at something deeply unsettling about the relationship between them. Declan Shalvey's cover art renders both creatures in rich blacks and amber light, giving the scene a ferocious, almost primal tension that fits perfectly within Marvel's 2024 run of *Alien* comics. With Shalvey and Andrea Broccardo sharing art duties on the interior, this series continues to be one of the more atmospheric takes on the Xenomorph mythos in recent memory.
