Aliens #1 [Second Printing]

May 1990 · Firebird Press · 0.25 USD

Aliens #1 (Second Printing, 1990) introduces a bizarre interplanetary quest when the king of Malnex-7 sends five floating, one-eyed alien volunteers on a mission to find new female companions after their own population has vanished. Written and illustrated by Sherman Burnett, the story follows their arrival on Mars and their encounter with a mysterious creature who steers them toward Earth. The cover, also by Burnett, captures the surreal tone of this strange, early sci-fi adventure.

The king of Malnex-7 sends five volunteers to bring back women from other planets since their own female population has left them for "the darkside of the planet." The alien volunteers (who are floating one-eyed heads) first arrive on Mars where they encounter a strange creature who recommends that they visit Earth instead.
