All-New X-Men #5

All-New X-Men #5 puts the action front and center, with a wolverine-clawed figure in a classic blue-and-gold costume launching a fierce mid-air strike against a massive, looming opponent, while a second clawed combatant engages from the left and a third figure takes a hit at the bottom of the frame. The fiery red background and radiating lines give the whole composition a sense of raw, kinetic force that Mark Bagley and Andrew Hennessy render with practiced confidence. Dennis Hopeless and his full creative team are clearly not letting this series slow down in 2016.
