Alpha and Omega #[nn]
"Alpha and Omega Prologue" introduces a mysterious cosmic journey in a 1978 comic from Fleming H. Revell Company, where the enigmatic female Omega appears aboard the male Alpha’s spacecraft. Written and illustrated by Al Hartley—whose signature appears on every page—this story follows the two as they defy their Basecom programming to heed a higher directive, only to be lured by Lucifer’s temptation toward a forbidden red planet. The journey leads not to discovery, but to a disorienting encounter with a black hole that throws their mission into chaos.

The female Omega mysteriously appears in the space ship with the male Alpha. Alpha and Omega ignore Basecom programming to receive data from a higher source. This source tells them that the environment on the asteroid is perfectly balanced, and that everything exists for their benefit except the red planet, which they are not to go to. Lucifer, landing in his own space ship, encourages them to visit the red planet and discover the secrets it holds. But instead of the planet, they find a black hole which traps and disorients them.
