Amar Chitra Katha #762
Amar Chitra Katha Vol. 762 brings the Mahabharata legacy forward through the story of Pareekshit, son of the celebrated warrior Abhimanyu. The cover, illustrated by C. M. Vitankar, presents a richly ornamented archer — adorned with gold jewelry, a quiver at his back, and bow in hand — standing over a white-bearded sage seated on the ground, a serpent coiled around the elder's neck and shoulders against a lush, rocky landscape. It's a vivid, dramatically charged image that sets the stage for a tale drawn from ancient Indian tradition, brought to life through the careful craft of writer B. R. Bhagwat and artist Prabhakar Khanolkar.
