“Purification!”

In "Purification!", Aman undergoes the Test of Fire, emerges purified, and requests permission to return to America—only to crash-land in the Louisiana bayous. There, he encounters a Louisiana newspaper investigator captured by a gang of pirates, setting off a tense standoff. Written by Allen L. Kirby and illustrated by Bill Everett (with inks by Everett), this 1940 Centaur classic features dynamic artwork and a gripping mystery from the early days of superhero comics, all under Everett’s distinctive cover pencils and inks.
