Volume 5 in Éditions Hibou's charming "Traits d'Humour" series, this collection brings together Dino Attanasio's lovable comic duo in a sun-drenched European square — the spires of what looks like a grand cathedral rising in the background as Ambroise and Gino happily scatter seed for a swirling flock of pigeons. The warm, loose brushwork and bright palette Attanasio was known for give the whole scene an irresistible, carefree energy, with a flustered little figure in the background adding a touch of extra mischief. A delightful 2010 showcase of Franco-Belgian comedy at its most good-humored.
