American McGee's Grimm #3

American McGee's twisted fairy-tale universe gets a Wild West makeover in this third issue from IDW, where a gaunt, spurred gunslinger stalks the dusty street outside a saloon while a mischievous, stitched-together goblin-like creature leers up at him with a jagged grin. The contrast between the lanky, shadowy cowboy and the anarchic little imp practically crackles with dark humor, framed beautifully by the issue's ornate Victorian border. It's a delightfully unsettling collision of folklore and frontier that makes this series one of IDW's more inventive offerings.
