Ange le terrrible #3

The third volume of Poipoi's Ange le Terrrible arrives with a cover that perfectly captures the series' mischievous energy: the silhouetted figure of Ange — all wide red grin and skull-emblazoned shirt — looms large against a stormy blue sky, flanked by a crowd of goofy pink creatures grinning right along with him. It's a wonderfully bold visual statement from Glénat that balances cartoon menace with genuine charm. If the first two volumes won you over, this 2010 installment looks every bit as gleefully unruly.
