Part of Murano Publishing's Xtreme Collection, this French-language adult title from 2020 centers on Angelica, a striking figure in a corset and cross who stands defiantly at the fore of the cover, surrounded by a cast of masked and unmasked women against a brooding stone cityscape backdrop. Linda Cervolex's artwork gives the whole composition a darkly ornate, gothic atmosphere that feels equal parts sinister and seductive. Labeled *pour public très averti* (for very mature audiences only), this one wears its tone unapologetically.
