Anges #2
A haunting atmosphere pervades this second volume of *Anges* from Les Humanoïdes Associés, the cover showing a solitary figure collapsed or resting on a stone ledge within what appears to be a dimly lit, ancient church or crypt — deep crimson pooling on the floor beneath them. Dicter and O.G. Boiscommun craft a visual mood that is brooding and painterly, the warm ochre stonework contrasting with that unsettling wash of red. *Psaume 2* promises a continuation of whatever dark spiritual journey this series has in store.
