Mia Oberländer's *Anna* from Swiss independent publisher Atrabile brings a striking graphic sensibility to its 2022 cover: a lone figure in a green top, white trousers, and red heels navigates — or perhaps pushes through — a series of tall, narrow red-outlined white panels that hem her in on all sides. The flat, bold palette and clean linework are entirely Oberländer's own, with every element of the cover — pencils, inks, and color — bearing her hand.
