This fourth Sherman's Lagoon collection by Jim Toomey delivers the strip's signature blend of sunny absurdity, captured perfectly on a cover showing a troupe of matching pink-clad water-skiers forming an ambitious human pyramid on the open ocean — while a very put-out shark gets dragged along for the ride. Toomey's cartooning is at its most gleefully chaotic here, with wobbly expressions and flying limbs that hint at the pyramid's imminent structural failure. If the previous three collections won you over, this one looks ready to make a strong case for being the funniest afternoon on the water yet.
