The Ocean Lords and Black Manta prepare to unleash the Death Kraken that will kill all life on Earth. Superman, Flash, and Mera fight off other metas who have been transformed by the alien sea waters, and are rescued by the arrival of Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Aquaman tells Mera how Poseidon said that she could use the Tear of Extinction to power Aquaman's trident enough to kill the sea gods, but Aquaman believes they need to reach out to offer peace to the sea gods rather than kill them. However, if he is wrong, Earth will be lost.
