Archie’s plan to get into the football dance backfires when he joins the team just to be near the action—only to end up playing against his own school and scoring for the other side. In "Vase the Matter?", Archie finds himself in trouble after breaking a priceless vase, prompting Fred to step in and try to smooth things over with Mr. Lodge. While Fred and Mr. Lodge make peace behind the scenes, Archie hatches a prank, projecting a fake boxing match onto the TV—only to have the joke backfire when Mr. Lodge believes Fred was in on it, reigniting the dispute over the vase’s cost.
