Arthus Trivium #4
The fourth volume of Raule and Landa's *Arthus Trivium* — subtitled *Die unsichtbare Armee* ("The Invisible Army") — arrives in fine style from Splitter Verlag, its cover presenting three tricorn-hatted figures braced for confrontation: a dark-haired swordsman on the left, a determined woman at center gripping her blade, and a blond gunman leveling an ornate flintlock pistol on the right. Behind them, ghostly silhouettes loom through a haze, hinting at the supernatural threat suggested by that ominous title. It's a beautifully composed piece of swashbuckling tension that makes this 2020 release hard to put back on the shelf.
