Diana was the only daughter of one of the most important financiers in Boston and convinces him that he should buy a Scottish castle for the publicity. When Lord Wyman sees an article in the newspaper about the American's desire to buy a castle, he convinces the holder of his mortgage that they can both get rich by selling to the American. Mr. Granger tells him he will send his daughter over to finalize the deal. When Diana shows up instead, Ronald mistakes her for Granger's daughter and reveals their plans to her.
