This Welsh-language edition of *Asterix a Gorchest Prydain* ("Asterix and the Great Crossing" / "Asterix in Britain") brings René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo's beloved Gaulish duo to Welsh readers with all the charm intact. Albert Uderzo's cover art captures the irresistible chaos perfectly: the mighty Obelix charges across what appears to be a rugby pitch, hoisting an enormous barrel aloft while liquid sprays dramatically from it, as Asterix ducks beneath him amid a sprawling brawl involving a crowd of striped-shirted opponents — with a packed stadium cheering in the background. Published by Dalen (Llyfrau) Cyf in 2012, this edition is a wonderful celebration of both the Asterix series and the Welsh language.
