Goscinny and Uderzo send their pint-sized Gaulish hero across the Channel in this Knight Books edition of *Asterix in Britain*. The cover captures Asterix mid-shout atop what appear to be pointed rooftops, defiantly addressing Roman legionaries with a speech bubble proclaiming the magic potion is on hand and surrender is still an option — pure Asterix bravado in one bold image. It's a wonderfully spirited introduction to one of the most entertaining cross-cultural adventures Goscinny and Uderzo put to the page in 1972.
