# Atom the Cat #16 Atom the Cat encounters Doctor Mole and his sidekick Kule, who plan to trap the feline hero in a contraption that will shoot him into space. Doctor Mole has also set a lever to drop Atom on the "stone age," but the villain becomes distracted by sardines. When sardines rain down on the scene after being struck by the catapult, Atom finds himself surrounded by hungry cats who help him defeat Doctor Mole and his plans.
