Atomic Mouse returns from vacation to find that Professor Invento has invented a shrinking spray gun, which the villain Count uses to reduce Atomic Mouse to nearly nothing. After the Micked Count uses the spray on Mouseville, causing widespread panic, Atomic Mouse pursues him and recovers the reducer spray. In a backup story titled "Something for Kiddies," Professor Invento demonstrates a new invention designed to make things easier for children, which produces unexpected results when Atomic Mouse observes the demonstration.
