Atomic Mouse falls victim to a scheming plot when a villain uses a blowtorch to destroy the beautiful ice designs created by Jack Frost, hoping to frame our hero's atomic energy for the damage. Furious at what he believes is sabotage, Jack Frost freezes Atomic Mouse in a block of ice—but our speedy hero escapes and discovers the truth just as bank robbers make their getaway. When Professor Invento's instant cheese pills catch the attention of some scheming villains, Atomic Mouse finds himself caught between doing good and outwitting a criminal plot—complete with instant inventions gone wrong. As mousetraps transform and surprises backfire, our hero learns that some inventions work a little too well. This 1960 adventure proves that even a super-powered mouse can't always predict what happens when instant science meets instant trouble.

A sleepy bear settles in for his winter hibernation after gorging on salmon, berries, and honey—but two zookeepers discover him snoring and haul him off to the city zoo without waking him. When spring arrives and the bear wakes to find a polar bear enclosure nearby, he mistakes it for real winter and goes right back to sleep, leading the frustrated zookeepers to return him to the wild, where he slumbers on through an entire cycle of seasons, completely oblivious to his unintended adventure.

Atomic Mouse decides to take a peaceful day off—no fights for anybody, except cats—but a scheming villain has other plans. He recruits the brutish Awful August, disguises him as a mouse, and sends him to catch our hero off-guard with false friendship and an endless supply of cheese. When Atomic Mouse finally discovers the deception, a hungry and immobilized August learns the hard way that villainous schemes don't always go as planned.
